Tom Stewart

Tom currently works as an executive coach and HR specialist supporting the development of leaders in both the private and public sectors to deliver positive business results for their organizations. During the last five years of a successful career in the Public Service of Canada, he was the Executive Director of the Assistant Deputy Minister Secretariat, where he led a team of senior HR professionals providing a full range of corporate career services (learning, development and selection) at the most senior levels of the public service.

In October, 2000 he received his professional coaching certification from New Ventures West in San Francisco, California; accredited by the International Coaching Federation.

His clients include, General Dynamics Canada Ltd., NCR Associates, the Russian Federation, Legal Aid Ontario, the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, Parks Canada, the National Research Council of Canada, the Canadian Transportation Safety Agency, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Immigration Refugee Board, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the National Search and Rescue Secretariat, and a wide variety of federal government departments as well as the central agencies.
